Garage door repair and spring help in Ringwood

Know what to expect before the visit

How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

Lunchstrike Garage Doors does not employ repair staff. When you reach out, you are matched with an independent provider in our network. That provider handles scheduling, the visit, the quote and the work.

What the Provider Will Ask

Expect short, practical questions. Having answers ready speeds things up.

  • What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, crooked, or not moving?
  • Did you hear a bang before it stopped? That often points to a broken spring.
  • Is it a single or double door?
  • How old is the door and the opener?
  • Is a car trapped inside?
  • Is the door stuck open, so the home is exposed?

Photos of the door, track and spring can help. So can the make and model of the opener, if you can find the label.

Questions to Ask the Provider

  • Are you licensed and insured where required?
  • Will you give a written quote before starting?
  • What is included: parts, labor, disposal?
  • Do you check track alignment and balance after the repair?
  • Is there a warranty on parts and labor, and what does it cover?
  • If I need a new garage door opener, can you explain the options?

Safety Note

Springs and cables hold a lot of stored force. Do not try to adjust them yourself. If the door is stuck open or closed, leave it alone and ask the provider about emergency garage service availability.

The Decision Is Yours

A quote is not a contract. Compare it with what you were told. Ask about anything unclear. Pricing varies by job, door size and parts, so a written quote matters. You can say no with no obligation, and you can talk to more than one provider if you want to compare.
